1. Acceptance of Terms
By
registering, accessing, or using The PATIX Matrimony (“Platform”), you
(“User”) agree to all Terms & Conditions stated herein.
If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform immediately.
2. Eligibility
- Users must be 18 years or
older.
- The Platform is only for
individuals seeking marriage lawfully.
- The Platform does not allow
usage for dating, time pass, or immoral intentions.
If a
minor/ person registers using false data, the Platform or owner is not
responsible.
3. Account Registration
Users
agree that:
- Information submitted is
true, accurate, and verifiable.
- One User may create only one
profile.
Providing
false information can lead to account suspension without refund and notice.
4. User Responsibilities
Users are
solely responsible for:
- Verifying the identity,
background, job, income, character, and intentions of other Users
- Any communication, financial
transaction, meeting, or decision taken with another User
- Maintaining their own safety
while interacting
The
Platform does not conduct physical background checks and does not
guarantee authenticity of information provided by Users.
5. Nature of Service
The
Platform:
- Only provides matchmaking
services by displaying profiles
- Does not guarantee marriage,
compatibility, success rate, or continued relationship
- Is not involved in user
communication, negotiation, or marital arrangements
The Platform
or Proprietor is not liable for:
- Rejection, breakup, or
divorce
- Harassment, threats,
emotional distress
- Loss of money, property, or
valuables
- Any fraud or
misrepresentation by Users
All
decisions made by Users are completely their own responsibility.
6. Paid Membership & Fees
- Users may upgrade to paid
membership for premium features
- Fees once paid are non-refundable
under any circumstances
- Failure to contact a match
or unsuccessful marriage or any other issue cannot be used as grounds
for refund or legal claim
7. Prohibited Activities
Users
must NOT:
- Share obscene, abusive, or
misleading content
- Request money, gifts, or
financial help from other Users
- Post commercial
advertisements
- Create fake profiles
- Harass or threaten other
Users
The
Platform reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts violating these rules
without refund and without prior notice.
8. Termination / Deactivation
The
Platform reserves the right to:
- Terminate or restrict User
access
- Remove any profile/content
- Block Users reported for
suspicious or harmful activity
Users can
request voluntary profile deletion anytime.
9. Liability Limitation:
To the
maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Platform and the
Proprietor are not responsible for actions, conduct, behaviour, or
communication of Users.
- The Platform and the
Proprietor cannot be sued or held liable for:
- Fake profiles
- Identity mismatch
- Emotional or financial loss
- Physical harm, threats,
sexual harassment, or violence
- Marriage failures or
disputes after marriage
- Any legal, social, or
family issues arising from User interactions
- Disturbances, technical
errors, hacking, data breach or failure of third-party services.
Users
agree that usage of the Platform is entirely at their own risk.
10. Indemnity Clause
Users
agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform and Proprietor from:
- Any claim
- Complaint
- Legal demand
- Damages or loss
arising from their interactions or disputes
with other Users.
11. Data & Privacy
User data
is handled as per the Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, Users give consent to:
- Display their profile
information to other Users
- Contact by the Platform via
email/phone/SMS/notifications
12. Third-Party Services
The
Platform may use third-party services like payment gateways, hosting providers,
advertising networks, etc.
The Platform and Proprietor are not liable for disturbances, technical
errors, hacking, data breach or failure of third-party services.
13. Changes to Terms
The
Platform may update these Terms anytime without prior notice.
Continued use after update implies acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These
Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any legal disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of courts located in Haldia,
Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, India only.

Matrimony acts only as an online matchmaking platform. The Proprietor shall not
be responsible or liable — directly or indirectly — for any relationship
outcome, financial loss, dispute, harassment, data leak/loss or damages arising
from the use of the Platform or interactions between Users.
